COVID Policy Updates
Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this pandemic journey. As a healthcare provider, it is and always has been our top priority to deliver exceptional retina care while keeping our patients, staff and physicians safe. While the CDC still recommends that masks be worn by anyone in a healthcare facility, we have decided to lift some of our previous COVID protocols. Beginning Monday, June 14th, Austin Retina will:
- No longer require temperature checks from patients or their guests
- Discontinue detailed COVID screening questions, instead we will just ask if you are feeling ill today?
- Begin to decrease social distancing in our reception areas to allow for more patients
- Still require masks to be worn at all times when in an Austin Retina facility until further notice
