Meet Dr. Rosignoli

Dr. Rosignoli was born and raised in Parma, Italy, and relocated with his family to the U.S. in 2008. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, summa cum laude, at the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL. He stayed at the University of Florida, College of Medicine to complete medical school. Dr. Rosignoli then completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas, San Antonio, TX, where he served as the Chief Resident. Dr. Rosignoli completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Austin Retina Associates. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Author of multiple peer-reviewed research publications and book chapters, his expertise includes medical and surgical retina, including complex retinal detachments, scleral-fixated intraocular lenses, pediatric retinal diseases such as retinopathy of prematurity, and inflammatory eye disorders. Outside of medicine, Dr. Rosignoli has a passion for gardening, cooking, and running. He still has extended family in Italy, visiting them with his wife, Brittany and their baby Leonardo when their schedules allow.
